Do I look good in these?

George looked this smart when I walked into the hallway. Had put on his shoes, and my hat and gloves!

In the afternoon we went to go sledging in Hagaparken, one of Stockholms biggest parks. Big mistake. George woke up just as we got out of the car and started crying five minutes later. He cried as we were walking towards the sledge slope, he cried when I carried him, when Matt carried him. Stopped crying when we went for hot chocolate and a kanelbulle, but started as soon as we got out again. Let's just say we didn't go sledging... No Winter Wonderland outing for this little family!

Lesson learnt: Do not start the afternoon by going out into -10 degrees, let G'man wake up and get excited about the prospect first. And make sure to bring the push chair if you have to walk for longer than a couple of minutes, G'man is getting heavier and your back feels broken after a hundred metres.

All in all, the poor little sod was frozen and didn't want to play . Next time we'll go to Nyckelviken which is just around the corner and the sledge slope is one minute walk away!

Oh, and when we got back home he was himself in minutes... With his new bowl haircut (pottfrissa) and all... Update: Have sorted the bowl cut a little, couldn't have him looking like Jim Carrey from "Dumb, Dumber"...

The snowball incident

During christmas, we went to this beautiful park area, Nyckelviken, close to where we live. George got really excited when we started throwing snowballs. He didn't expect Chris to throw one high high up in the air and land on his head though! Hilarious!

En sockerbagare

We were searching on my phone for the Snowball incident film, and I found this one. George singing 'En sockerbagare' ('A baking man'), just before Christmas... Cute!

George our son

Just a couple of cute pics of my lovely boy! He's blissfully unaware of the fact that mummy and daddy haven't had running water in the house since Thursday (and it's now Sunday... LOVE living in a house I do...)

John John's 3rd Birthday!

What a brilliant party! In true American styley, proud parents Annika and Jonas, had booked space for 15 friends at a playland! George looooved it! Hardly had time to eat his ice cream! Best I believe, was the 'shooting range' with small soft foam balls flying about! Rewarding for us parents too, George was mega tired in the evening and slept until half seven the next day! Which, touch wood, is actually becoming more of a regular thing!!! The other day he slept until eight!

Pancakes!

Yesterday morning we were taking full advantage of our lovely new kitchen! We made both scones and pancakes! George was loving the pancake making, and the pancake eating of course!

New Years Eve

Spent a really nice evening with Maria and Andie and their little Olivia. Matt cooked up a delish supper, and the fireworks was seen from the top of the hill, where we could see all the way to the city!

Winter Wonderland

The last couple of days have been really cold, leaving all trees so beautifully frosted. This is the scene outside our kitchen window.

Boxing Day

We went sledging down our hill! It's brilliant and has become a must at least once a day for little Mr G. Think Chris enjoyed it the most actually! The evening was spent lounging, very nice indeed.

More Christmas day...

Chris and Christine checking out Matt's cooking skills...
