Cold sunshine

Went for a sunny walk this morning. G in his overall and his mummy in her new fur hat, thanks mamma (mormor) for this (belonged to my great aunt), love it! Warm and cosy and lovely!

Have a great new years eve everybody and see you in 2009!

Emily the bishop and family

Managed to squeeze in a brief date with the Gutteridge family before we left England. Little Emily is cute as ever, however not too impressed with George playing with all her new christmas presents! Vicky looked gorgeous with a nice bump, the addition is expected in March. Lovely to see you guys!

wii dancing

So Tim and Laura has bought a Wii, and there was some dancing involved. My man is the one on the left, the other one's yours Laura... Not much more to say really.

Boxing day evening

The evening was spent at John and Marion's up the road. All the new cousin kiddies were there! George, who is the oldest now, Toby, nine months, and little Dylan, fresh and new, only two months old! Dylan is very cute, looks like his mum! Another nice evening with too much food and drinks... Oh, forgot to mention Matt bought me boxing gloves for christmas, so will try to work off christmas treats when we get back! I was actually lying down on the floor doing some exercises this morning, and George got down beside me and tried to mimic my push-ups (armhävningar)! Hilarious!

Boxing day Annandag jul

Went to see farfar and granny Devon at gammelfarmors. George brought his new guitar to show farfar. He also had some very beautiful wooden toys which we will probably have to send home or else we'll have to pay for extra weight at the airport... Oh, and check out his new outfit! Like father like son...

Christmas day dinner

Gorgeous christmas dinner with santa hats, pop quiz, games, desserts, champagne and sausage rolls! George was busy eating cheerios and dried pears. A very very nice evening!

Christmas day presents

George had a lovely time opening presents. Lots of toys, adidas track suit, cardigan, books, dvds. All very nice. Mum and dad and the rest had nice pressies too!

Christmas day morning glory

Morning glory for Jo who got a signed christmas card by Johnny Borell, lead singer of Razorlight, which we went to see the other week at Debaser.

Piano, puzzle and uncle Rob

George helped us dress the christmas tree the other day. And he's been laying puzzles, playing the piano, and showing uncle Rob Nelli the Elli. Today it is Swedish christmas so God jul to everyone over there! We'll be having some of my homemade meatballs and other goodies later on tonight so watch this space! Ho ho ho

Arrived in England

Now we've arrived in Ampthill! Morning was stressful, yes indeedy, quite impressed though that Matt was ironing his shirts at six in the morning, whilst George was having his välling next to myself who was half dead to the world and aching allover (Leila came with me to kickboxing yesterday and it was the former Albanian country coach holding the class... Seriously hard work!!! Leila how are you feeling today...).

And then we had a bit of a stress at Skavsta airport, as always when flying with Ryan Air. Too much weight in the check-in bag (that's your christmas presents folks!), so a bit of re-arranging, a little bit of swearing (alright, quite a lot of swearing) and a little bit of whining (George), and then we could finally proceed through to security check. Which went fine, but was nervous they would tell us that we'd sneaked a third hand luggage under George's push chair, which we had, and that it weighed too much, which it did... But they didn't! Hurray!

Finally on the plane and we could calm down. Managed to get an extra seat for George, which he was pleased about. He played peek-a-boo with the girls in the row behind, had some porridge, walked in the aisle. Was a very good little boy in general.

Farmor Christine was beaming when seeing her little Georgie walking around and got a kiss hello too! Lucky us he slept all the way home, and spent the rest of the afternoon exploring the house and playing with all the brilliant toys around! He had an early christmas present - UGG style slippers! Very cool dude indeed!

And then cousin Toby came around and George could entertain for real! He loved it! Toby's so lovely, he's a cute little fella, happy sitting in the same spot for quite some time, just waving his arms as in taking off flying...

And now, our lovely little boy has fallen asleep, happy and really really tired (not a peep, he just hugged Nellie and smiled at me) and we've just had some champagne to celebrate us being in England! Christmas is just around the corner!
