My best George

On Friday, last week, the sun was shining, and I decided to avoid boring chores and head to the park with my boys instead.

I had a lovely, lovely time, and whilst Billy was napping, me and G enjoyed lunch in the sun in a nearby cafe.

I left George with mormor yesterday and he's there now. Looks like they're up to something fishy!

Think I should have more lie-ins in the mornings... There's always something baking when Matt gets up with the kids! I wonder if Matt feels the same about waking up to a tidy house when I get up early? Suppose you can't eat tidiness though...

Another parcel!

Yesterday, another birthday parcel arrived for our littlest boy. Joy in all corners, great presents and there was something for George too, and some plant seeds for myself and Matt, not to forget! Thanks farfar and granny Devon!

Happy 1st birthday Billy Finn!

Our lovely little fingersucking, cuddly boy, is one! Time has really flown and this year has been very eventful. In one month he'll start dagis. Still a baby in our eyes but no doubt he'll be just fine. Will have to practise his walking though as he's not very interested in that at the moment, and we're not bothered really, it's more for his own sake amongst the other children.

Went out for a celebratory dinner last night, stopping at the park on the eay (billy sporting his new trousers). It turned out to be fairly ok, Billy wasn't too impressed to start with, having to sit stuck in the highchair, but after some food and some of G's chips, he was happy Larry...

George dug into his ribs and chips like there was no tomorrow! Nice.

Saturday egg hunt

Forgot the Saturday egg hunt! The Easter bunny had dropped feathers in the woods and George had to follow them to find his Easter egg!

We started the day with a yummy breakfast with hot cross buns and chocolate! And for the evening meal, Matt made slow cooked lamb leg. We had mormor here to join the feast.

Easter Sunday egg hunt

Good friends and kids joined us for the annual egg hunt in the sunshine. Matt went on this years first vespa ride and all the boys, including the smaller ones, wanted a go. More pics on camera, will post shortly.

Easter Bunny

George the Easter Bunny went to dagis as usual yesterday. He came home, still sporting the face, announcing that it was only him and two of the girls that had been dressed up, and he wasn't too happy about that haha

Pickin man

Opposite to George, Billy Finn is really interested in picking with things, or, taking things out and putting them back. Farmor bought G a little Postman Pat bag for that particular purpose, but he never caught on. Billy on the other hand, loves putting things in it, only to take them out again next minute. Lovely to watch!
