Question of the day!

I opened the door to let George in to the bathroom after I'd used the toilet.

"Do you wipe your bum yourself mummy"?

Hat

George came home with this lovely hat the other day, which he'd made at dagis!

Playing house

This morning, George told me that we were to play House ("mamma, pappa, barn"). It's the first time he's mentioned it and it brings back memories from my own childhood!

He was mummy, I was daddy and Cat and Nellie were our children. He fed them sweets, ice-cream and milk from a bottle!

A cold but lovely Christmas day

All credit to my lovely Matt for cooking up an amazing Christmas day dinner with all the trimmings! Days leading up to Christmas was also spent baking and preparing so when spending an hour in the sledge slope in the afternoon, we brought hot chocolate, cookies and mince pies! Deeelicious!

Anthony, Lena, Vincent and Finley joined us at the slope, Brendan, Cecilia and little Fabian joined us at home. No Christmas hats or crackers, but dinner was outstanding (suckulent chicken beats dry turkey any day!) and Christmas pudding and chocolate trifle for afters. Lucky for us, even if somewhat surprising, the other fellow English ate like baby birds, so a lot of leftovers... I had chocolate trifle twice a day for the following four days! Have to eat for two you know...

I'm hoping Ant and Brendan will send over some of their pics, being photographers and all, so I can post them here.

Oh, and check out G's drawing skills. It's taken over a week to get it off. Marker pen!

George Spiderman Leach Squire

Julafton at Villa Leach Squire

After the disappointment of not being able to fly to England over Christmas due to my condition, Christmas turned out pretty special after all!

We had a lovely big yummy breakfast and mum arrived in the afternoon, just in time for Kalle Anka (Donald Duck) and glögg martinis by bar man Matt!

The big different was of course to spend it without Arnfinn, but he was with us in our hearts and minds and mum and Matt had a few snapsar at dinner to make sure he wouldn't be disappointed if watching from above somewhere!

Even though some of G's presents were stuck in England, I still think he had a great day! A very cool table footie game from mormor, kitchen stuff (yep, have to start early!), Toystory 3 dvd, clothes, lego, and possibly best of all - a spiderman costume!

George's stocking!

George was very excited to put the stocking by his bed and of course even more exciting to find it full in the morning! Pingpong balls, and other bits and pieces kept him busy all morning...
