Toby

Little Toby's dinner came straight up, does he seem pleased with himself? Mummy Clare asked for wiping assistance quickly anyhow.

Leisure times

The arrival of the aunties!

Arrival of auntie Laura and Jo, and uncle Timmo meant lots of play and a visit to the Pub! Spent a lovely afternoon in the pub garden with the rest of the second and third generation of the Squire Read clan. Amy's showing off a nice little bump, the next little puppet is expected in the end of October, perhaps on G's birthday?!

Chasing peas

Lucky George got to try farmors yummy peas straight from the garden patch! A little difficulty in keeping it in the mouth, but practice makes perfect!

Bath time!

We all wanted to cool down in the afternoon, but unfortunately the bath was only big enough for George...

Meeting the relations

Little lovely Toby is George's second cousin. He's just turned four months and has got the chubbiest of cheeks! Adorable little fella, no doubt these two will have fun throughout the years! Scarlett is Matt uncle Rob's gorgeous youngest daughter, and then there's great grandma Doris who got to see the best side of George!

Ampthill England

We've now been at Farmor's and grandpa Chris' sin Ampthill, England for a few days. Lots of fun and adventures, meeting cousins and second cousins, uncles and aunties. Barbeques and good wine, weather's been absolutely great! George is being brilliant, sleeping through the nights as he does at home (even got his own room which makes such a nice change!), crawling around exploring and is finetuning his standing up and sitting down aswell as waving at everyone and chasing pets!

George has just spotted Evie the dog, and is off on a hunt!

Visiting morfar in Trosa

Yesterday we went to see morfar and Eva in Trosa. So picturesque with all the little houses along the canal and all the flowers. It was hot hot, so George had to cool down in the tub on the patio!

George and his pysslingar

Today we've been at my nephew's house and spent the day with his lovely girlfriend Thessan and their brilliant kids Liam and Frank. Since we are a 'modern' family, where I'm only one year older than my nephew, and his kids are older than George, me and Thessan tried to work out what the boys should call each other... They're not cousins, or second cousins... so we decided that they are pysslingar! Actually, this makes more sense in Swedish (alltså, de är inte kusiner, inte sysslingar, men pysslingar! Urkul ju!), but anyway, now you know!

George enjoyed being pushed around in Frank's walkie-pram, laughed loads at Liam hitting himself in the head (yes, a little strange, but he said it didn't hurt!) and was then being his lovely cute little self all the way home! He's talking loads at the moment, all types of funny noises and gurgles.

"I'm cool and I know it"

Berlin

Were in Berlin last weekend. Spent most our time in cafés, bars, or in parks where George could stretch his little legs. It was lovely with a change of scenery, and nice to come away from tv and computers for a while... Little man was brilliant from start to finish - awake on the plane, smiling and talking to absolutely everyone on the bus from the airport. Slept in the pram whilst we were out for dinner and would probably have slept through the night if it wasn't for the light green curtains in the hotel room... Wake up call 05:30! My god, haven't woken up at that time for many months now!

That problem was taken care of the same day, by the purchase of black binliners which we taped onto the windows and then the room became pitch black! Resulting in G sleeping through the night as usual. Bestest George!

Yummy breakfasts, nice lunches, visits to flea markets and deliscious dinners (mind you, time wise, we'd could still be waiting for dinner actually, they're not very speedy...). Beers in the middle of the day (Heaven!) and coffees galore made it a great first holiday for George!
