Palma life

Me and mum enjoyed some great days in Palma! Weather was lovely and warm (almost too warm at times), we ate great food, drank lots of wine and enjoyed life in general!

Boys meeting Alice

On Monday I took the boys to Petra's to meet lovely Aluce who is almost four months now. George had made her a lovely drawing and loved holding her. Billy Finn also had a little wobbly go! 

Nackamästerskapen 2014

George and his friends did so well at the footballcup at tve weekend! Such little fighters! Won three out of four games! 

Oh, and in case you're wondering, he's having his haircut today!

George has had this soft toy from school at home over the weekend, called Spökis. Today we wrote about the weekend in Spökis book and George is becoming so good at his writing! Makes me very proud! 

Mamma 70 år!

Better late than never... On the 24th of July, me and Matt hosted mum's 70th birthday party! It was the hottest day of the year, 34 degrees, and we were sweating away with the preparations.. Luckily enough, the shade soon hit the back patio so we were all able to sit and enjoy the afternoon.

I made a ring of fresh flowers to have in her hair, to make sure she felt like a birthday girl! We enjoyed great food and Matt had made mum a beautiful cake. She got very emotional when we all sang Happy Birthday, such a lovely moment! I had asked people to bring travel vouchers rather than presents and almost everyone obliged ha ha. Meaning we have now been able to book a trip to Palma together! There was also some cheeky questions for everyone to answer and I had asked everyone to tell us about a personal memory they share with my mum, and what makes her so special.

All in all, a wonderful day and I'm so happy that we were able to organise it so well and that mum was so happy about the outcome! Luckily, it will be another five years until the next big birthday, I need a rest!
