shoe fetishism and ear infection

Little champ has double sided ear infection (öroninflammation, lilla tussen!). Been the best sport though, not complaining as much as I would have done...

We thought something was wrong already on Monday, but then he seemed better again on Tuesday. Tuesday evening he was in pain again, but ok Wednesday morning so took him to dagis. But they rung at lunch and said he hadn't eaten and all he wanted to do was to sleep and cuddle up with the staff and after his midday nap, he was upset. Luckily mormor was on her way so he spent the afternoon with her. And then I took him to the doctors in the evening (närakuten) and they confirmed the ear infection. Antibiotics have already kicked in and he's better today already. Hopefully almost back to normal tomorrow!

And then I would like to add that I think he's a shoe fetishist! He loves his shoes! Too small, too big, wrong shoe on wrong foot, daddy's shoes... Hilarious!

Walkies with daddy

Yesterday we went for a car trip to have a look at a potential place for us to stay whilst building the house. George decided he wanted to walk to the car, no riding in push chair, that's for babies!

Dagis moments

Today was G's last inskolningsdag (getting-used-to-nursery-day), and tomorrow the little chimp is on his own! Sure it will be fine, he's been eating well and falling asleep only minutes after the 'oldies', so fingers crossed! Pictures show singing time (George blurry in close to camera), fruit time and hobby time.

Kissing Sigge

After a busy day at dagis, Matt came by my office with little man, and little man couldn't keep away from Sigge, the office doggy!

First day at Dagis!

Today was little Mr G's first day at dagis! It went brilliant! We'd hardly arrived before he shot through the gates and landed himself on a little vehicle, and then it was swiftly on to the sand pit, via the slide... Think you can say he enjoyed himself... I left my two boys to go to work, Matt later told me they both had a really nice day. Junior didn't eat much at lunch, but perhaps a little too early, and then he didn't want to sleep when everyone else went down, but made no fuss about half an hour later, so all in all a very good day! I'm taking him tomorrow and am very excited! Will keep you posted!

Oh, and he was a very tired little man this evening.

When mum's away

Daddy sometimes forget to watch George at play... This lovely wall painting was found by the sofa.

I was asked...

... by farmor Christine to update the blog... Been really slack lately. But only with the blog, 'cause the rest of our lives has been busy busy busy! George has been a little sick on and off, Daddy Matt's been a little sick too, Mummy Helena didn't have time to be a little sick so she cancelled Mr Sick and asked for a rain check. We're about to sell our flat, house project is moving forward, meetings with architects taking hours, and then we've also actually had time to celebrate Thessans birthday, Marias birthday and have friends around for dinner! And now, breathe...

George is now less than one week away from starting nursery, hey hey, will be great! He's started this quite annoying habit of throwing himself on the floor when he doesn't get his way... The fake whining has been going on for quite some time, but the kicking and punching is fairly new. Hope it goes quickly. If not, maybe an older child will tell him it's out of order and that it won't help 'cause mum and dad know you're faking it! haha!

Bye bye Djudje

Djudje (George for you suckers who didn't understand that) and Bye Bye, are little mr Man's new, most frequent words this week!

"Helluuu"

George answers everything! Answers everything as if it was a phone! The phone, a shoe, a toy car, a tin of facial cream, the lense cap for the camera... That is, until he tries to put it back onto the camera, which is another favourite game!

Farmor Christine

Came to visit us last week! It didn't take a minute for him to recognise her and then it was Mommo this and Mommo that (we've tried to teach him to say Fammo at least, but no...) The snow came with Christine too, and we enjoyed a lovely walk around Stora Skuggan park area on Sunday, finished off with hot chocolates and cakes! Yummy!

Excellent too that farmor loves giving G'man his bath, since us parents are a little crap at that and he's a filthy little bugger normally haha!
