Mummy's birthday!

On Monday it was my birthday! We decided to get out of the house and do something nice, the weather was still gorgeous!

Had a lovely breakfast in the morning with pancakes and croissants and my pressies were spot on! Will be sponsored on a pair of running shoes, a book on tapas and a very cool bow-tie type hair piece (or to be used as a belt or something else!). Also a lovely necklace from Andie and Ursula, thank you very much!

We went to Sigtuna and Steninge slott for the day. So nice! Had a very nice time, and so did George, but he had a mouth ulcer so didn't even want ice-cream bless him!

Enjoyed a very nice bbq dinner and a chocolate tiramisu to die for! My mum came to join us and brought me a clothes drying thingy (snurrande torkställning), which I've wanted so we can hang clothes out to dry to make them smell like childhood! She also gave me some money towards treating myself to some girly things, thank you mum!

Work continues...

...with building our long 'flower bed' which will act as a barrier towards the drop, as well as framing the path up to the house. Again, incredibly proud and impressed by the boys' work, and the final result exceeded my expectations! It looks so good! Now we just have to paint it all, fill with soil and start planting!

Camilla and Alex' wedding

On Saturday afternoon, me and Matt left farfar and Georgie at home and took little BF with us and went to a wedding. An old girlfriend of mine, Camilla, tied the knot with her Alex after 14 years together!

They both looked lovely, all the guests were dressed to impress, food was perfect and Billy Finn on his best behavior. Apart from too many speeches, which is normally the case at Swedish weddings, we had a great time, and most important, Camilla and Alex were beaming with joy!

Proud daddies Matt and Ritchie with their mini-me's.

Have to be prepared for everything!

Sabina, Ritchie and little Milo.

Lovely Ellinor and Erik looking smart.

Linda, Elle, and me, brushed up quite nicely for having a seven-week-old baby hey..

Little Milo in a kilt, just like his old man. Brilliant!

Beautiful steps!

I'm immenesly proud of Matt and farfar Andie for their achievement with the steps leading up to our house! Wide, straight and lovely! Tried to help out as best as I could by painting a few steps, serving lunch and looking after the kids (yes, that's a time consuming job too for all you men out there!)

First meeting with farfar Andie

Farfar Andie arrived on Friday night, ready for some serious outdoor multitasking, as well as family time!

Growing fast but still a little frog.

Bank Holiday Fun

Yesterday was a bank holiday here in Sweden. Matt took the day off work and we went into town and bought some new summer clothes for George, a couple of vest tops for Matt and a few little things for Billy Finn.

Then we walked down and through Kungsträdgården where it was 'Restaurant Day' - A load of different restaurants offer tasting samples from their menus to quite decent prices. We sampled som Gotländsk pig with mango salsa, wild boar stew (vildsvinsgryta) and Mexican empanadas. Mucho gusto! George sampled some crispy chips and ice-cream like the true gourmand he is...
