Belly week 38

This is my belly from last week. Probably the last pic I will take before the birth, but might be nice to look back at sometime in the future... I feel very well at the moment. A little tired of course, but not exhausted, and I manage to sleep quite well apart from one nightly visit to the loo. The little frog is moving about loads in the day and seems to be stretching its limbs in all directions which sometimes shapes the belly in a funny way, but luckily fairly calm in the night which helps me relax.

Both myself and Matt are ready to meet our new little baby, and we have been able to prepare a few more things this time which is nice. So every evening when we go to bed now, we're prepared for it, even though it's somewhat nice when the morning comes and we get one more day... Wierd. George was already born by now, but think this little chappy will stay inside until the due date or even longer. Maybe.

George the joker

This is one way of using mum's hemorrhoid cushion (and no, I DON'T HAVE hemorrhoids, but this cushion is brilliant if you're pregnant and have pains in your coccyx/svanskota. Takes the pressure off. So there.)

Frank 4 years!

Went to Frank's birthday party on Saturday. Kids only, apart from one very round mummy, and Frank's mum and dad... Great to just sit and watch someone else doing all the work! The kids had a great time and as always, the yummies on offer were plentiful and mouthwatering! The sun was blasting outside so the boys spent a lot of time out on the patio, playing bandy and chasing eachother on kickboards...

A couple of hours of rest, and then the family arrived. Me and G stayed on since I thought it would be nice to see everyone and didn't head back home until half five, both of us completely exhausted, but indeed very pleased with a lovely day!

Daddy Matt was at football (unusual...) and won 8-1.

Cuddly George

Just as a little reminder to myself when G gets older and don't fancy cuddling his mum much... For the last month or so, he's been the cuddliest little man ever! He comes running across the room, throwing himself around my neck, exclaiming 'MY mummy'. He tells me he loves me and gives out kisses without hesitation! It's so lovely. Let's see how long it lasts...

Super Sage!

Matt decided to go outside to dig out our herb garden and to our astonishment, the sage was still alive and kicking under all that snow!

Sunny Sunday!

On Sunday, we went to Söder, and enjoyed the the lovely sunshine, with coffee and bullar in a corner of Nytorget. Bojan came with Matei and Adrian, and the kids played at the playground and had an icecream treat!

Morfar Ralph and Eva came round for dinner, I'd made lasagna which they said was much better than Dafgårds (Swedish ready meal brand)... Not sure how to respond to that... hahaha. Morfar also had a very sad selection of salad leaves on his plate - one spinach leaf, one salad leaf, one rocket leaf, one thin slice of carrot, one cherry tomato... Worse than George! (Sorry pappa, men lite roligt är det!)

A lovely Sunday, it was nice to spend some time together.

Scones!

On Saturday, me and George made scones to surprise daddy Matt and to enjoy together. Unfortunately, Matt had a terrible head ache, possibly a migraine attack, and he was unable to move from the bed and didn't surface until seven in the evening, bless.

Myself and little Mr G enjoyed the scones either way and saved one for daddy, which he didn't eat, so mummy Helena had to eat that one too!
