Luncheon

We've got auntie Laura and uncle Tim visiting at the moment, much to George's joy! Fun and games all the time! Pasta wheels and falukorv is nice too!

Today we went to Skansen to watch the Lucia celebrations, but George got a little stressed by the big crowds and wasn't quite himself until we found a little hideaway in the shape of a round, lit up greenhouse. Very pretty. Uncle Tim took lots of nice pictures which will come shortly (our battery charger is still missing..)

Jättecool bil!

This morning George blew me away again with his talking. He showed me one of his little cars and said: Titta mamma, jättecool bil (look mummy, really cool car!). Don't know who's taught him to say cool but it just sounded so funny!

We've had farfar Andie visiting for almost a week and George has been switching from Swedish to English without blinking! Such a good little boy!

Our favourite is still: Vad gör du mamma/daddy? (What u doin mummy/daddy?), he says it all the time and with the funniest tone of voice.

Oh, and the other day he sung the Pippi Långstrump (Longstocking) song!!! Well, more or less haha, but even the words 'varenda kotte som jag känner...' hahaha!

I will try to record his speaking (or singing)soon, whenever I can find the charger for the camera...

Hello everybody!

My name is George, I've just turned two. My mummy and daddy are building a house so they never have time to update my blog, but I will push them to do it more often soon, promise!

Anyway, this is my new T-shirt that I begged mum (snäälla mamma / pleease mummy) to buy for me and then ran into dagis and showed it off to everyone! In the afternoon, the big boys from the other group were also very impressed with it!

Pretty mummy

George decided to come into the bathroom with me this morning, he wanted to have a bath whilst I had a shower. After I was done, I did my hair, my make-up and went to put clothes on. When I returned, George looked up and said 'Fin mamma' (Pretty mummy). Aaah, what a nice start to the day!

We have a 2 year old!

Little George Melton is already 2 years old! Where did time go? Have been so busy lately with the house and work, can't wait for Christmas when we'll be able to wind down a little and spend lots of time together!

Anyways, think G-man had a great birthday! A muffin for breakfast, a drill, some play-dough, a little Roary car, new shoes, new top, new T-shirt... And after the midday nap, it started allover again! Monster truck and trailer from mormor and Bestefar, Brio train track from Petra and a pedal tractor from morfar and Eva. Little mr G was in heaven! And if that wasn't all, he had auntie Jo and Laura and farmor Christine and great grandma Doris on skype video! And dad had made the coolest Roary the racing car cake ever (George gave a helping hand as you can see)!

G was very tired in the evening haha...

Oh, and as a little weekly update I can let you all know that he's mimicking absolutely everything we say! Hilarous to some extent, frustrating in others... This morning he said 'Sluta mamma' (Stop mummy), after I had told him to stop making noises in the back of the car haha! He's actually surprising us everyday now with new words! Sentences are mostly 3-4 words long and he knows to speak to me in Swedish and Matt in English, even though his English vocabulary isn't as big yet.

Findings!

Went through my phone, which has been playing up lately, and found all of these lovely pics!

> In the back yard at Nan's house, with a racer toy car
> With mummy
> In the park, wearing cool leather jacket

new dagis!

Georgie boy started a new dagis last Thursday. It went so well! He loved it! He was a little shy and kept a little in the background when all the kids where gathered, but took up plenty of space playing with the trucks, tractors and cars...

Refused to sleep the first day, was too busy playing, but on Friday, I left him when they had lunch and went to sit in the staff room whilst they ate and then slept. He went to sleep in an instant! Great! And I also had a great time, stuffing my face with cakes that the parents had baked for the previous day's communal cleaning afternoon...

Matt took care of the Monday, which also went brilliantly, and today, Tuesday, was his first day there on his own. He cried a little when Matt left him, but when he picked him up this morning, the staff told Matt he'd been good all day, so he seems to like it there!

Pics show when they queue up for lunch, so sweet! And G's dip into the car box!
