First solid meal
Last Friday, four months and one day old, me and George decided it was time for Billy Big Eyes to have a go at some solid food. Porridge was the selected choice by big brother. It proved to be a very good choice indeed, it all went down very well! Very messy of course, but nice to see his appetite! Next on the list is parsnips (palsternacka), potatoes and sweetcorn (G's favourite) I think, updates to follow!

Boys on the loose!
On Monday, since dagis was closed, a few of us dagis mums met up at Nyckelviken to let our kids run around and play. What a lovely sight! When we arrived, everyone was already there, so George was greeted by a chorus of six little boys calling his name like crazy ha ha. It was like watching cows being let out for the first time after the winter, the boys were jumping around, shouting, chasing each other. Lovely!
We also had a look around the pretty garden and I spoke to the gardener to get some tips for next year! Afterwards, I dropped G off att Matt's and went to see the midwife for a checkup. All good. Went back to Matt's office and headed off to the park for a bit.

Billy's eyes
I'm trying to determine which eye colour our little Billy will end up with. There's a hint of brownish/yellow around the pupil and the rest of the iris is sort of dark greyish blue. Watch this space!
Oh, and he's four months old today! Went to the nurses and he's 6.8 kilos and 64 cm long. Big eye Billy blob!

Beetroot crop!
Petra's summer house
Me and the little boys went to darling Petra's summerhouse at Torö over night on Wednesday. Drove out there in the morning so we could have the whole day together! The weather was so so, but we went into Nynäshamn for some food shopping and ice cream!
When both of the boys were in bed, we had smoked prawns for starters and bbq'ed pork and new potatoes for main. Gulped down with lots of wine of course!
After a fairly rough night (Billy woke up like one million times and George decided 5.30 was a good time to get up in the morning... Can't remember when that last happened...), it was nice to see the sun shining on and off, and George and Petra went for a swim! We drove back to Stockholm late afternoon, content and tired. Petra admitted on the Friday that she had been knackered too haha!

First time in the high chair!
Cousins visiting!
About the same time as we came back to Stockholm, uncle Per arrived with four of his kids in tow - Adrian 4.5, Leon 3.5, Simone 11 and Olivia 9! Playtime for the cousins!
It was lovely to see how quickly they found each other after not having seen each other for so long! Adrian, Leon and George were like the three musketeers. They were having so much fun, George didn't want to come home with me... So he stayed the night at the caravan too!
The day after they all came round to our house to see it for the first time (the kids, Per's been here before) and we had lunch and fika outside. Then there were blueberries to be picked and football to be played. A great day!
