On our way to Österlen!

Early morning, 5.30, Saturday the 28 of June, we set off in the car towards Österlen! Posh coffee in takeaway cups, kids still in jammies! Kids were brilliant all the way, thanks to films, games and croissants!

We met up with farmor and Chris in the picturesque village of Brantevik. It was fairly chilly, but luckily being a family of English and Swedes, we know not to count on heat waves on domestic holidays! Hag a sandwich and apple must for pennies (well, almost) in a cute little café, before continuing towards our rented house in Borrby.

The house was so lovely! Loved the decor and style in general. Me and Matt had packed the car full of wine and beers, so as traditional family custom, we enjoyed a glass of chilled white wine at the same time as the sun joined us!

Football cup

George had his first football cup last week. Only two matches and they lost both, but the medals saved the day! 

Went back to Andreas and Sofias for a very nice evening! 

Midsummer!

A little chill in the air but no rain at least. I made an absolutely gorgeous cake, if I may say so myself! And I did my own lemon curd to go in it! Matt made three loaves of bread to try and regain the crown as the family chef but I stole it for the day! 

A yum lunch and then packed Blue Betty and cycled down to Boo-badet to see some Friends and sample my cake! Oh, and Tim, there were Morris dancers there! Apoarently they'd asked if they could dance more or less nonstop but the organisers had declined that offer ha ha! 

Knackered when we got back so just lounged around and had lunch leftovers for dinner! 

First tooth is out!

Drum rrrroll please! George pulled it out himself whilst having breakfast. Nice. And then he fot a little upset and confused, but quickly git back to normal an is now looking forward to a visit from the tooth fairy! 

Friends in town

Met up with Fab and Holly and their gorgeous Sofia and Rio yesterday morning. Had a bite to eat and more friends joined in the park.

Afternoon was spent with Brendan and family, with the purpose of trying to transfer chicken pox from little Felix to George and Billy Finn! In two weeks time we'll see if it worked.. So bizarre, but has to be done!
